The Numark DM 1002 mk2. Iwas amased that it could hold down that much punisment that i put it through dropping it. This by far the best mixer for the price. Though it could be better.

this mixer is brilliant value for money. it is very solid and strong. However, i found the xfader started to leak after only a month or so. this is replaceable tho.

I purchased this mixer to last me until i could afford a vestax pmc- 05. the mixer is great in most ways. the layout is great, price is great, functions are great, and the quality is great. the only problem i have encountered is that the cross fader started to leak about a month after i got it. However, I use this mixer maily for scratching, and this could be expected from any mixer in this price range. I would recommend this mixer to anyone just starting up. The kill switches are great fun to muck around with and the mixer as a whole is good quality. If you intend to scratch allot, I would suggest saving up a bit more money and getting a better one.
