The iDJ is a 2-channel mixer that enables mobile DJs and iPod enthusiasts to seamlessly integrate their portable music libraries with other music and sound reinforcement systems — transforming the iPod from a personal music player into a source playback device. The Numark iDJ doubles as an iPod Charger and docking cradle. The 2 usb sockets on the back allow you to update your tunes while it's docked. (usb cables not included)

The large controls duplicate those on the iPod and adds fader start and stop, so when you move the crossfader over it pauses the iPod being faded out and starts the one fading in.

The rear of the iDJ has inputs for either 2 turntables or line inputs like CD or MD players as well as the master and record outputs. One special socket on there is the S-Video output which will output video from an iPod Photo, Nano or Movie docked in the left hand socket.

At the front you'll find headphone sockets (one small, one large) and an input for a microphone with level and tone controls.
