Description for the Mixmash New Year's Eve Countdown Visuals DVD
This DVD features two different New Year 2007 Countdowns:
* A 'Traditional' countdown, with an hour of Big Ben footage from 11'til midnight (with light streaks whizzing around etc), which ends in a 10 second on-screen countdown to midnight encouraging the crowd to count down, followed by a closeup of Big Ben striking midnight, accompanied by audio of the Big Ben chimes, which then fades into fireworks, including "Happy New Year" written in fireworks, and firework sound effects.
* A "Modern" countdown, featuring a digital clock overlaid onto 27 abstract visuals (so ideal for nightclubs etc), with a computer-style 'progress bar' that fills up as it gets closer to midnight, also ending with a 10 second on-screen countdown to midnight encouraging the crowd to count down, followed by a closeup of Big Ben striking midnight, accompanied by audio of the Big Ben chimes, which then fades into fireworks, including "Happy New Year" written in fireworks, and firework sound effects.
There will be the option of starting the countdowns at 1 hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 seconds to suit every application. This will also allow for any unforeseen circumstances such as a power failure, as you could restart it at the next convenient chapter. As the year is never displayed this can be used over and over again.
